About
Should you take a coat? Open the app and look at the character: they're already dressed for the weather outside.
Coat or Not turns the forecast into an outfit. A pixel-art fox, cat, bear, raccoon, corgi or person stands in a scene that matches your sky, wearing what the day calls for, and tells you in a speech bubble: the temperature, how it feels, and the clothes to grab, from beanie to boots.
Key features
- What to wear, not just numbers: advice built on the "feels like" temperature, then adjusted for rain, snow, wind, fog and sun.
- Plan ahead: the next five hours, a seven-day forecast, and tap any day to see the character dress for it.
- A home-screen widget with the dressed-up character, the temperature and the outfit.
- Private by design: no account, approximate location only, and city search (34,000 cities) that works offline.

About the art
The pixel-art scenes were generated with an image model, then picked and catalogued by hand so each character wears the outfit the app advises.
